In 2018, the nonpartisan Voters Not Politicians group spearheaded the ballot proposal to reform the way Michigan draws its legislative districts. In 2022, it helped push through a measure that made voting a fundamental right in the Michigan Constitution and guaranteed nine days of early voting.
