Following the second fatal shooting of a protester in Minneapolis, Judy Daubenmier, chair of the Livingston County Democratic Party, released the following statement:

Livingston County Democrats stand with the people of Minnesota.

The federal occupation of Minnesota must end.

The people are rightly angry about ICE agents breaking into the homes of U.S. citizens without warrants, seizing young children to use as bait, and sending toddlers out of the country in defiance of court orders.

This is no longer about enforcing immigration laws. It is about subduing protest and letting masked thugs abuse and even kill peaceful protesters with no accountability.

This is not freedom. This is a direct threat to the lives and futures of Americans, not just in Minneapolis, but everywhere.

The ICE agents who murdered Renee Good and Alex Pretti must be held accountable with a full, fair investigation conducted by Minnesota authorities. The agents must be arrested now, and ICE must be removed from the streets of America.
