Summer Roadside Cleanup Coming Up!

It’s roadside cleanup time!

Would you like to meet other Democrats in a casual setting while helping the community at the same time? Then join Livingston Dems on Sunday, July 17, for our annual spring cleanup day under the Michigan Department of Transportation’s Adopt-a-Highway program.

We will meet at 8 a.m. in the parking lot of Ironwood Golf Club, 6902 E. Highland Road, Hartland, to clean up a two-mile portion of M-59. We will have safety vests, pickup sticks, and trash bags. Please wear sturdy shoes, work gloves, a hat, and sunscreen. John Wallbank will be in charge and will provide a safety briefing and other instructions for those new to the activity. The rain date will be July 24.

Sign up here so we know you are coming.

Livingston Dems have been involved in the MDOT’s Adopt-a-Highway program for more than 30 years. It’s a great way to meet new Democrats, get a little exercise, and do something for the environment and the community all at the same time.

Help us keep this tradition alive!

(Paid for by Livingston County Democratic Executive Committee, 8028 Grand River, Woodland Plaza Suite 7, Brighton, MI 48114. Labor donated.)
