It’s been a cold, snowy winter in Michigan. That means high energy bills for us all – bills that can be unmanageable for some of our friends and neighbors.
To help with that challenge, the Oakland-Livingston Human Services Agency is sponsoring its annual Walk for Warmth on Saturday, March 15, at the Oceola Community Center, 1661 N. Latson Road, Oceola Township.

The indoor walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. with registration opening at 9 a.m. This is a kid-friendly event that includes not only a chance for some exercise but a chance to give a helping hand to others.
Livingston Dems hope to raise $1,000 for energy assistance through Walk for Warmth. Our annual support for this event is a great way to put into action our core values of compassion for others.
