Livingston Dems Provide Thousands of Meals for Gleaners

More Livingston County families will have food on the table this holiday season, thanks to the generosity of Livingston County Democrats. The party’s annual food drive for Gleaners Community Food Bank raised $3,541 in cash, checks, and online donations, as well as 61 pounds of non-perishable food - that’s enough to provide 10,696 meals, according to calculations from Gleaners!

“Compassion for others is a core Democratic value, and every holiday season Livingston County Democrats demonstrate that value with a drive to benefit Gleaners. Our members were especially generous this year, more than doubling last year’s dollar donations. We appreciate their generosity because it means many Livingston County residents will have a brighter holiday this year,” said Judy Daubenmier, chair of the Livingston County Democratic Party. The Gleaners drive by Livingston County Democrats has been carried out for at least 20 years.
