Winans Dinner Coming Soon – Donations Needed!
Our annual spring event – the Winans Dinner – will be coming up June 16, and with it our fabulous silent auction.
The online silent auction is an important way that we raise funds to support our local candidates. To make it a success, we rely on donations of items for bidders to choose from.
The dinner itself will be June 16, but we are already collecting donations for the silent auction.
Popular items in the past have been gift baskets – pet items, gardening items, University of Michigan or Michigan State University items for high school grads heading off to college, and more.
Gift certificates to local businesses are also attractive to bidders, along with handmade items such as jewelry or knitted scarves and gloves. Donated services that you perform are also popular, as well as bottles of wine and liquor.
