Walk for Warmth with Livingston Dems!

Michigan's winter has been mild so far, but energy bills can still pile up. And many of our friends and neighbors right here in Livingston County have trouble keeping up.

That's why Livingston Democrats will join in the 30th annual Walk for Warmth sponsored by Oakland Livingston Human Services Agency. The indoor walk-a-thon raises money to help people right here in Livingston County pay their energy bills.

The walk-a-thon will be Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Hartland Educational Support Services Center, 9525 E. Highland Rd., Hartland. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. and the program, followed by the walk, is at 9 a.m. You can walk with us, but if you can't walk, you also may donate online here: https://app.mobilecause.com/vf/Livingston/team/LivingstonDems.

Or you may text Livingston34 to 71777 to donate.

Livingston Dems have supported Walk for Warmth for nearly every year of its existence and we are proud to do so. Compassion for others is a core Democratic value, and supporting Walk for Warmth helps us put that value into action.

When we give as a group of Democrats, we remind the community that we are here and that we "walk the walk" when it comes to our values.

Join us at Walk for Warmth if you can (look for our Livingston Dems banner) or donate on line ahead of time!

(Paid for by Livingston County Democratic Executive Committee, 8028 Grand River, Woodland Plaza Suite 7, Brighton, MI 48114. Labor donated.)
