Statewide Campaign Begins Work for November Election In Livingston!

November seems like a long ways off, but it will be here before you know it.

That's why the statewide campaign, known as One Team Michigan, has begun working in Livingston County already.

The campaign has several events scheduled for this month, including:

--June 12, 5 p.m., Message Training on How to Talk About Democratic candidates. Sign up here for details.

--June 14, 1 p.m., Talking to voters. First time canvassers and seasoned canvassers are both welcome. Training and materials are provided. Repeats on June 21 and June 28. Details here.

--June 20 and 27, 10 a.m., Talking to voters. First time canvassers and seasoned canvassers are both welcome. Training and materials are provided. Sign up here.

The One Team Michigan campaign is a statewide campaign that works to elect Democrats throughout the state. Although the candidates at the top of the ticket -- U.S. senator and governor -- will not be decided until after the August primary, One Team Michigan will still be talking to voters about other statewide candidates and party values, as well as listening to voters' concerns.

Many people wait until right before the election to get involved, but starting now will give you added experience that will make the time you spend later in the campaign that much more effective, efficient, and enjoyable.
