The Michigan Democratic Party will endorse our candidates for key statewide races at an April 19 convention. To get ready for that convention, Livingston County Democrats will hold our own convention later this month.

Party members will meet on Zoom at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, to prepare for the statewide convention. We will consider resolutions and select two people to serve on committees for the statewide convention.
To vote at our at our county convention, individuals must have been party members as of Feb. 24. Precinct delegates elected in 2024 may activate their membership up until the day of the convention here. The call to convention, including the link for credentialing, is below. The credentialing form, which is here, will open at noon on March 22 and continue until 5 p.m. on March 25. The Zoom link for the convention will be emailed out at 4 p.m. on March 26.
The convention will elect a male member to serve on the Rules Committee for the statewide convention and a female member to serve on the Resolutions Committee.
Resolutions to be considered at the county convention must be emailed to livcodems@gmail.com by 5 p.m. on March 20. The party's Resolutions Committee will review the resolutions and decide which will advance to the convention.
Kody Vitale, Project 83 field organizer, also will share information on what to expect at the April 19 endorsement convention.
