Let's Help Our Neighbors!

Compassion is a core Democratic value. And there’s no better time for us to put our values into action than in the middle of a pandemic.

That’s why Livingston Dems are holding our annual food drive for Gleaners Community Food Bank. Many of our friends and neighbors are hurting right now due to the pandemic and to the Trump Administration’s failure to provide more aid. When unemployment aid runs out in December, the situation will be even more dire.

There are several ways to help. You can donate online, mail a check made out to Gleaners Community Food Bank to Livingston County Democratic Party, 8028 Grand River, Woodland Plaza Suite 7, Brighton, MI 48114, or drop off non-perishable food to our office.

When you support our food drive, you can trust that your donation will be used wisely. Gleaners uses 95 percent of every $1 donated to purchase food. And when we give as a group of Democrats, we remind people that we are here and that we believe in putting our values into practice.

Fundraising for Gleaners during the holidays is a long-standing tradition for Livingston Dems. Let’s make this event the biggest ever!
