Join fellow Democrats on Sunday, April 14, as we kick off another year of participating in the Michigan Department of Transportation's Adopt-a-Highway roadside cleanup program.
We will meet at 8 a.m. in the parking lot of Ironwood Golf Club, 6902 E. Highland Rd., Howell, to clean up a two-mile stretch of M-59. Wear sturdy shoes and bring work gloves. We will provide safety vests, trash bags, and pickup sticks.
After the work is done, we'll sit down for breakfast together. It's a great way to meet other like-minded people, do something for the environment, and get a little exercise. Livingston Dems have participated in the program since its inception 30 years ago.
John Wallbank, vice chair for labor relations, will be in charge. Sign up here: https://forms.gle/VRAgHJ4VvsT4QWvK8
(Paid for by Livingston County Democratic Committee, 8028 Grand River, Woodland Plaza Suite 7, Brighton, MI 48114. Labor donated.)
