Join Livingston Dems For Summer Roadside Cleanup July 12!

If you are a simple way to make a difference for the environment?

Join Livingston Dems for the next roadside cleanup under the Michigan Department of Transportation's Adopt-a-Highway program!

It will be Sunday, July 12, at 8 a.m. We will meet at Ironwood Golf Club, 6902 E. Highland Blvd., in Oceola Townnship.

We will be cleaning up a two-mile portion of M-59.

Please wear sturdy shoes, a hat, and sunscreen. Bring work gloves. We will provide safety vests, pickup sticks, trash bags, and safety instructions.

This has been a project of Livingston Dems since MDOT started the program in the early 1990s.

It's a great way to meet other Democrats in a casual setting, get a little exercise, and take a small step toward making our county look good!

The rain date will be July 19.
