Have You Thought About Voting Early?

Remember, you can vote early in Michigan by going to your clerk's office, filling out a form requesting an absentee ballot, filling out the ballot out on the spot and putting it in the drop box.

Clerks' offices will be open on Saturday, Oct. 31, for early voting. Hours vary so check with your local clerk. You can even register to vote through 8 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3, at your clerk's office. Check your registration status, find your clerk, track your absentee ballot and more here.

Remember, in Michigan you do not need a photo ID to register or vote. You can sign an affidavit of identity instead, but you must provide proof of residency.

If you have filled out your absentee ballot, please hand deliver to your clerk's office or put in a drop box rather than mail to be sure it is received by 8 p.m. on Nov.3. Ballots received after that will not count.

If you need a ride to drop off your ballot at your clerk's office or a ride to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 3, please email livcodems@gmail.com or call 810-229-4212.
