Brewer to speak about 2020 Election/2022 ballot issues

Understanding the 2020 election results and anticipating possible 2022 ballot issues will be the topic of discussion as former Michigan Democratic Chair Mark Brewer joins the Livingston County Democrats at their February 25 Executive Committee meeting, which begins at 7 p.m.

The longest-serving MDP Chair (1995-2013), Brewer received his JD from Stanford University, clerked for Michigan Supreme Court Justice Charles Levin, and currently works as an election attorney with Goodman Acker.

A member of the Democratic National Committee, Brewer received the Champion of Justice Award from the Michigan Association for Justice, and the Distinguished Service Award from the Michigan Education Association. He has also been honored by the State Bar of Michigan and the ACLU of Michigan for his pro bono work.

“Mark is one of the most knowledgeable people about Michigan politics and elections. This is a great opportunity to learn from one of the best about the past election and what’s in store,” said LCDP Chair Judy Daubenmier. “Don’t miss it,” she continued.
