Want to be a delegate for your favorite candidate at the Democratic National Convention next year?
Then come to our meeting this Thursday, Oct. 24, and learn about the process for becoming a delegate to the July 13-16 convention in Milwaukee. Kody Vitale, field organizer from the Michigan Democratic Party, will be on hand to explain the process of delegate selection for the national convention.
And, you'll have a chance to hear from Gary Childs, the new DEMOCRAT on the Livingston County Commission. Gary, who represents most of Green Oak and part of Brighton Townships, will update us on the Transportation Coalition's plans for expanding transportation options.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Community Unitarian Universalists in Brighton, 3333 S. Old 23, Brighton Township. Refreshments will be served.
