The Radical Right--Where Did It Come From?

Writer: livingstondemslivingstondems

Join other Democrats in our area for a talk, "The Roots of the Radical Right," at the next meeting of the Livingston County Democratic Party.

Dan Luria, our party's vice chair for strategy, will examine how the far right launched a plan to undermine basic aspects of majority rule so that the minority could more easily thwart the will of the majority of Americans. It is based on the book Democracy in Chains by Nancy MacLean.

The meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, at the Community Unitarian Universalists in Brighton, 3333 S. Old 23, Brighton Township. The party's regular business meeting will follow, including opportunities for volunteering.

Light refreshments will be served. Come and bring a friend!
