Fall is here! That means it's time for Pumpkins and Politics -- our fall Day of Action combined with our annual pumpkin sale -- on Oct. 12.
We will be phone banking and canvassing from party headquarters to let voters know about Michigan's new option for voting from home. All voters can now sign up for the absentee voter list to receive an application for an absentee ballot before each election. Once they mail in the application, they will receive a ballot they can fill out and home and mail or deliver to their local clerk.
Shifts for phone banking and canvassing will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sign up for a shift here.
Training and materials will be provided. Refreshments, too!
