Dozens of Livingston County school children will have new backpacks and school supplies when classes start this fall, thanks to the generosity of Livingston County Democrats.
“Simple things like having paper, pens, and crayons can make a big difference for how well children do in school, but Democrats recognize that not every family can afford to outfit their young ones with everything they need. That’s why Livingston Dems make it a priority to contribute to Livingston Educational Services Agency’s annual Backpacks for Kids program,” said Judy Daubenmier, chair of the Livingston County Democratic Party. “
This year was our biggest effort ever. We are proud to have delivered more than 60 backpacks filled with school supplies with a total value of more than $1,500 to LESA.” Democrats know that education is the key to success in life, so we are proud to help some of our local children get a better start in life, Daubenmier said.
