Doug Cornett Joins Fowlerville Board!

Handy Township Democrat Doug Cornett formally joined the Fowlerville District Library Board after being sworn in on Friday, Jan. 22.

Doug won a four-year term on the board at the Nov. 3 election. He follows in the footsteps of his wife, Marion Cornett, who served nearly eight years on the board. She was president of the board for four of those years.

Doug’s goals are to move forward with finishing the interior and exterior of the building, which was purchased in 2016 during Marion’s tenure on the board. The office is located at 130 South Grand, southwest of the main four corners in Fowlerville.

Kathy Arledge of the Village of Fowlerville administered the oath of office to Doug.

(Paid for by Livingston County Democratic Executive Committee, 8028 Grand River, Woodland Plaza Suite 7, Brighton, MI 48114. Labor donated.)
